Wedding centerpiece ideas?

I am having a wedding

and I have two options for a really crazy cake, which im planning everything else around... One is a Mad Hatter cake, which is light orange-mango, strawberry-pink, and dark purple, with these white beads weaving around each tier. I would like a crazy centerpiece to match this. the other cake is a five-tier wedding cake that resembles five boxes of presents stacked on top of each other with a large green ribbon tieing it (edible). The first tier on the bottom is orange, then green (a light grassy green,) then pink that is striped with a darker pink(vertical stripes) then a orange box (which is dark and light pick, checkered) and then a richer orange box, with magenta-pink flowers at the top and bottom. What centerpieces can match these? Colors? I have been thinkin about water-filled glass bowls, with floating flowers, and candles, but they dont match, or peacock feathers..but they dont match.

Any ideas?

Thanks

my college roommate used mini cakes as her centerpieces. as she and her groom cut their cake, all the guests cut the table cakes too. it was fun and saved her money on flowers. however, if you're matching the mini cakes to your crazy fancy one (which sounds so cool, by the way!) things may get a little pricey! maybe something else to play off the "mad hatter" theme. something like hats on each table that are each filled with something different (one with flowers, one with a couple of dvds, ... whatever your %26amp; your spouse-to-be's interests are!). good luck!
Reply:You could try the website I listed below. They try to accomodate any request you can throw at them. Maybe they can help you. Also they handmake all of their stuff so they can match any color you can think of. I am sure if you email them with your needs they can come up with something for you.
Reply:what if you did a gift box type thing with a topiary ball coming out of the top and use flowers to cover it in those colors? I didn't do the box thing, but had a polka-dot thing goin, and had mine done in polkadoted flower pots then had the ball covered in pink daisies, they were so cute and fun, and original, my dad called them my dr suess trees! I got lots of compliments on them!
Reply:With the Mad Hatter cake you could have little purple top hats with flowers in them.. maybe orange pink and purple flowers.. Or you could have little tea pots filled with purple flowers.. there are lots of things you could do with that theme.

For the boxes, well you could put a small bouquet of flowers in the center and decorate little boxes to look like the cake and place them around the flowers.. or you could stack some boxes made to match the cake and have a candle in the middle or on top of one.. depending on how sturdy they are of course.. Or you could make a floral wreath using orange and green and the magenta pink flowers and in the center of the wreath you can put a pillar candle maybe a tall glass holder with the candle inside it..

There are so many things you could do!!
Reply:maybe you can try bold colored flowers. Different types in each vase...say Orange cala lillies in one, red peonies in the other, green cymbidium orchids in one and purple tulips in one. Each vase at varying hieghts to mimic the varying hieghts and colors of the madhatter cake.

Or to mimic the wrapped book cake get different flowers and cover floral foam with the blooms, tie with ribbons and stack them up to create a floral display that looks like wrapped packages but made of flowers...
