Dream within my dream: I was walking in a wooded park on a trail, and I saw white and cherry colored pieces of what appeared to be candy gently falling from the sky like snowflakes. A spirit communicated to me without words, through a spiritual connection (very very hard to explain – kind of like feeling the warmth of a stove, kind of). The spirit told me that the white objects were flowers, but were edible if I wanted to eat them. But I didn’t, because I knew beforehand that the white wildflowers would have a bitter taste and an odd texture once inside my mouth.
Then, in the outer dream: I found myself in an auditorium 1/3 full, filled with older people (in their 60s). The place was dated, like from the 1970s, and brown and dark. A man was standing and talking, and was giving dream interpretations. An old man got his dream interpreted before mine, and went on and on. I became impatient. Finally, the host got to me, and I told him the above dream. He acted disinterested, and the crowd seemed tired and disinterested, which hacked me off. I looked to the left and saw the theater’s door was ajar. It let in a small but bright shaft of pure white light into the dark theater. I remember seeing scenery on the stage, but it wasn’t a part of the dream interpretation presentation given by the man who was suppose to be interpreting my dream. I felt like he was discounting my dream simply because I wasn’t as old as the other people in the audience, as if I were foolish for asking for such an interpretation.
What does this dream within a dream really mean?
Can you interpret my dream within a dream?
The dream within the dream denotes that you view your path in life as pleasant. You feel at times that life has been sweet and gentle to you. Your wiser self tells you that although some things may appear harmless, and you are able to partake of them, you know that doing so would leave a "bitter" taste in your mouth and not feel right to you.
In the outer dream you are going through a stage in your life. You are seeking answers, but other people's problems seem to come before your own, and you are tired of having to wait for the answers you seek. When it finally seems like you are going to get a chance to have your own needs met, you may feel others are not showing the interest you think you are due, so this, naturally, irritates you. The door to the side indicates that enlightenment is yours if you will open the door to it. The scenery on the stage is the accoutrements of life, and those accoutrements do not represent the real you, the you that seeks knowledge and enlightenment, your inner being. You feel as if merely because of your age, you are not being given the proper respect you deserve.
So taken together, I would say that even though your life has been sweet to this point, you are experiencing a need to look into it on a deeper level. You are wise enough to know that although some things may look harmless, they can have a negative effect on you. The everyday trimmings you present to the world, (the scenery on the stage) is not the real you. You may be dissatisfied with the answers you are receiving about your questions, so should focus more on different ways of enriching your knowledge when you see the opportunities to do so present themselves. You will have to learn to be patient as you do this because there are other people with needs as urgent as your own, even if you don't think so. You believe other people think your age is a hindrance to finding wisdom, and it aggravates you to be excluded from the "wise old man" club simply by dint of your age in years.
Hope this helped.
Reply:To dream of walking through a well-kept park, denotes enjoyable leisure. If you walk with your lover, you will be comfortably and happily married. Ill-kept parks, devoid of green grasses and foliage, is ominous of unexpected reverses.
Got meaning from http://www.livinglucky.com/dreams/free-d...
Reply:I think the house will burn And the snowflakes can be the dust of the fire and the bitter taste is that what is left if your sweet life will turn to bitterness. But who knows OK...........That is my theory?
