I'm planning a summer party and need help...?

Okay so it's a suprise party for one of my friends and this is the theme:

It's not really fairy, but its like fantasy garden maybe? I'm having it in my backyard which has a lot of big gardens. We're putting christmas lights in the trees along with paper stars that are going to hang from them. I have a pond in my backyard and we're going to put floating candles in that, along with candles like winding up the rock of the waterfall. And we're getting about a dozen gerber daisies in mybe pink and orange? (i'm not sure about that, any suggestions would be appretiated!!) and then we're serving like lighter foods like salad and stuff. and then we're having cupcakes with light pink frosting and edible orange flowers on top. Any other suggestions on what i could do to make it better? Or any other decorating/food? Suggestions would be greatly appretiated!! Thanks so much!!

something that might make it a little more "magical" are flower lights...not sure what they are really called, but a florist would know what you are talking about. They are little lights powered by watch batteries and they provide just a little glow in your centerpieces...its beautiful...I had them at my wedding.
Reply:Sounds really good - my daughter suggests lots of pink balloons.

Get your friends to decorate their own cup cake with icing, 100s and 1000s, silver balls etc

Maybe serve fruit kebabs or get em to make their own - do a chocolate fountain or fondu.

Maybe borrow some pets for people to play with.

have a game where you get in to groups and you have to make a pair of fairy wings.
Reply:fairies and windchimes for decorations

apply for a loan
